Hi Laurie I enjoyed your sensory integration lecture as it resonates with my feelings of what I find in animal practice.

I wanted to remind you of the Tellington Touch wraps, which use ace bandages. I frequently use the head wrap and half wrap on these patients with calming occurring within 5 minutes, allowing me to do a full treatment session. (There is an entire booklet of wraps.)  TTouch has sold the thundershirt for many years and I recommend to owners to purchase them with dramatic results. They also work well for body awareness which helps hyposensitive animals too. TTouch also now makes a head mask which looks a bit like a horse fly mask to decrease sensory input. Some dogs can tolerate this.
